I saw a few American Golden Plovers in a potato field near the entrance road to Bombay Hook NWR, DE on September 6th, 2009. The birds were pretty far away, so the picture quality isn't that great. The bird is molting out of its breeding plumage, so it is pretty scruffy looking too.
