Bird Photos / Bank SwallowLast Update: 6/30/2014 |
These first birds were perched on a wire alongside the road at Swan Harbor Farms in Havre de Grace, MD. It's hard to tell if these are bank swallows or some other type of swallows, but since the tail looks like it has a notch, I vote for bank swallow.
This next bird, which is definitely a bank swallow, was at Swan Harbor Farms in late April, 2006.
A large number of bank swallows was on the gravel parking area at the end of the Port Mahon Road in Delaware. I saw them on August 2nd, 2008.
This bird was flying low above the water at the new impoundment at Swan Harbor on May 14th, 2011.
I saw this one near the Boardwalk Trail at Bombay Hook on May 27th, 2012.
This bird was at Swan Harbor on June 30th, 2013.
I saw this one there on June 28th, 2014.
