I saw several male and female Blue Grosbeaks at the Bombay Hook Wildlife Preserve, DE, on July 3rd, 2006. The first two photos show a male bird up in a tree, and the third shows a female in the reeds alongside one of the freshwater ponds.

The next bird was on a tree support pole near the parking lot of the Susquehanna State Park, MD picnic area in early May 2008.

This Blue Grosbeak was one of the first birds I saw at Bombay Hook NWR, DE on June 8th, 2008.

I saw these birds at Bombay Hook on July 26th, 2008.

This immature bird was at the tip of the point by the lighthouse at Turkey Point in Cecil County, MD on September 6th, 2008.

We saw this one at Bombay Hook on May 30th, 2011.
