Joyce and I saw the first duck at Ackerman Park during our guided bird tour in and around Sarasota, FL, on February 24th, 2007.

I saw the next ducks at Brazos Bend State Park, TX, on January 21st, 2008.

From Florida to Texas and now home to Maryland- these next birds were at Swan Harbor Farms on April 10th, 2008.

These birds flushed from a pond at Rio Bosque park in El Paso, TX on October 22nd, 2009.

I saw several Blue-winged Teal in Orange County, CA in late January 2010. The last one in this group of photos is near a Cinnamon Teal at San Joaquin Wildlife Preserve in Irvine.

These Blue-winged Teal were in the new impoundment at Swan Harbor in Harford County, MD on April 1st, 2012. No foolin.

These flew out of the same impoundment on November 6th, 2012.

I saw these in the same place on April 5th, 2013.
