Joyce and I went on a Harford Bird Club trip to Bombay Hook, Delaware on August 18th, 2007. There was not much water in the various pools, so the shorebird counts and variety were down from previous visits. But there were still plenty of nice birds to see, like these guys:



Several Ruby Throated Hummingbirds visited the feeders at the park headquarters:



A Forster's Tern flew by with a fish:

We had a low altitude flyby from a Turkey Vulture

We saw several night herons in the trees near Bear Swamp Pool. This one is a Yellow Crowned Night Heron:

Along the Port Mahon road, Joyce photographed this Osprey:

This Royal Tern and Great Black backed Gull were also near the Port Mahon road:
