We saw this first catbird from the trail to the hawk watch site at Turkey Point in Cecil County, MD, on October 1st, 2005. It sounds like a cat meowing, which is apparently the source of its name.

This next bird, possibly the same one as before, was seen in about the same place on the trail to Turkey Point, on October 8, 2005.

We have a pair of Catbirds hanging around our backyard feeders.

This one was in and around the fallen "snag" tree near the hawk watch tables at Turkey Point.

I saw this bird near the mill at Susquehanna State Park on May 20th, 2012.

This one was at the picnic area on May 4th, 2014.

I saw this bird at Bombay Hook on May 15th, 2016.

This one was at Susquehanna State Park on May 28th, 2016.

This one was also at Susquehanna State Park on May 9th, 2020.
