We added a new puppy to our family! One of Joyce's co-workers dog's had a litter of puppies, so we agreed to take one. He's a West Highland White Terrier, or Westie. We named him Comet. He was born on September 24th, 2006, and we picked him up on November 17th, when he was about 8 weeks old.

Before picking him up, we visited the puppies at their home. We dropped by on November 3rd, and we met our puppy and his family when he was just 6 weeks old.

All of the puppies were very cute and very friendly. They played with the leash and crawled all over Andrew.

I took Madison and Comet to the Bel Air dog park in early May 2007.

Comet likes to sleep in his cozy bed. He often brings a toy with him to snuggle with. In this case, it is one of my slippers.

We took the dogs to Ocean City, MD for New Years 2008. We found a pet-friendly hotel, so it was pretty easy. The dogs loved to run and play and dig on the beach. Comet isn't very good off the leash- I had to chase him down when he ran toward the road after a seagull or something.

Andrew and I took the dogs to a local dog park on Sunday, July 19th, 2009. Comet spent most of the time sniffing around and exploring.
