I saw a Crissal Thrasher at the Fred Hervey water plant north of El Paso, TX on June 8th, 2009. The bird moved right before I took the picture, so the head is not visible. You can see the red under the tail feathers, which is a sign of the Crissal Thrasher.

I had much better looks at one at Rio Bosque park, also near El paso, on October 22nd, 2009.
