This type of gull was seen all over the place in Ocean City, MD, in July 2003, along with many Laughing Gulls.

These immature Herring Gulls were seen on the Port Mahon Road in Delaware on July 3rd, 2006.

Joyce and I saw this gull on the beach at Cape May, NJ in October 2007.

This gull caught a little crab for lunch in the waters near Ocean City, MD on July 28th, 2008.

This next gull was in a large group that gathered at the back of the boat during a pelagic (sea bird) cruise on December 13th, 2008. We were in Delaware waters at the time of the photo.

This bird was catching fish on the Susquehanna River near Port Deposit, MD on March 19th, 2011. I am not sure what the large floating thing is near the bird in the last two photos. It does have eyes, so I guess it is a large dead fish.

Most of the gulls following behind the boat during a pelagic sea bird cruise were Herring Gulls. I took this trip off of the New Jersey coast on March 26th, 2011.

I saw this one on a pelagic trip in Maryland waters on March 17th, 2012.

This bird was flying around Poplar Island in the Chesapeake Bay on June 5th, 2013.

This one was about to eat a crab at Ocean City, MD on July 7th, 2015.

I saw these at the Ocean City inlet on January 16th, 2016.

I saw these at the Indian River Inlet, DE on December 31st, 2016.

These were at Ocean City, MD on July 3rd, 2017.

I saw these birds at Indian River Inlet on January 18th, 2021.
