Horned Lark

We saw a flock of about 20 Horned Larks during a Harford Bird Club trip to the Bradenbaugh flats area in Northern Harford County on February 2nd, 2008.

Note how well camoflaged these birds are against the dry grass. There are at least 3 in this photo.

This Horned Lark was right by the side of the road in Perryman, MD on April 20th, 2008.
