Bird Photos / Northern MockingbirdLast Update: 5/27/2018
I see many mockingbirds at work on Aberdeen Proving Grounds, but we didn't get many at home when we lived in Belcamp. This one appeared at our feeder in January 2004.
I saw this mockingbird at Rio Bosque park in El Paso, TX on May 15th, 2007. It seemed larger and darker than the ones I see at home, but maybe it was the lighting. I was at the park right at sunrise so that I would have time to walk around before my work meeting started.
This one has an oddly-shaped bill. I saw it at the Bayside Campground on Assateague NP, MD on December 10th, 2010.
I saw this immature bird at Swan Harbor on August 16th, 2013.
This mockingbird hangs around near the Turkey Point hawk watch site. You can see that it has been banded, but I can't read the band markings. This photo was taken on September 22nd, 2013.
This bird braved the cold alongside the main road on Assateague Island on February 15th, 2015.
I saw this one at Slaughter Beach, DE on May 26th, 2018.
