Joyce and I saw several Gannets from a whale watching boat offshore from Cape May, NJ on October 5th, 2008.

Hundreds of Gannets flew by the beach at Cape May, NJ on November 15th, 2008. They were very close to the shoreline.

The Gannets were often mingled with flocks of Surf and Black Scoters.

These Gannets appear to be chasing a Long Tailed Duck.

Several Gannets hung around the back of the boat during a pelagic (sea bird) cruise I took on December 13th, 2008. We were in Delaware waters maybe 15-20 miles offshore from Lewes.

I saw more Gannets from a pelagic cruise off the coast of New Jersey on March 26th, 2011.

I saw a few more from a pelagic trip in Maryland waters on March 17th, 2012.
