I saw this first pheasant near the visitor center at Bombay Hook NWR on April 8th, 2007. I saw it walking across the road. By the time I got close and got the camera out it had moved into the grassy area. It flushed when I left the car, allowing me to take the second photo as it flew over.

I saw the next bird in about the same place at Bombay Hook, but in October 2007.
