I went to the public tour of Pimlico Racetrack in Baltimore on May 15th, 2013. They call these free events, which take place a few days before the Preakness, Sunrise at Pimlico.

The horses were training on the main track:

The actual tour started with a walk around the Preakness barn. We saw Kentucky Derby winner Orb:

We also saw the Sutter Farms clydesdales:
