Bird Photos / RazorbillLast Update: 3/27/2011
Joyce and I saw many Razorbills at Machias Seal Island, ME on June 25th, 2010. These birds, along with the Puffins and Common Murres, live at sea and only come to land to breed and raise their chicks. This island hosts a large colony of breeding seabirds.
I saw a good number of Razorbills off the New Jersey coast during a sea bird trip on March 26th, 2011. They did not let the boat get very close, so these long range photos were the best I could get.
