Joyce and I saw a pair of Redheads in a much larger group of Canvasbacks and Scaup in the Choptank River. We observed the group from the end of Oakley Street in Cambridge, MD, on March 8th, 2008. The day was gloomy and rainy, so the lighting on the photos is not great.

I saw a group of about fifteen Redheads in the new impoundment at Swan Harbor Farms on December 4th, 2011.

We saw a large number of Redheads at the Bayside pond near Ocean City, MD on January 18th, 2014.
