Joyce and I saw two Florida Scrub Jays in Oscar Scherer State Park, FL on February 24th, 2007. This park is south of Sarasota. The Florida scrub jay has a very limited range, and this park has a large population of them due to the abundance of the right kinds of scrub brush on the property.
