I saw this bird in the nearly-dry impoundment at Swan Harbor Farms near Havre de Grace, MD on July 22nd, 2007. It stuck around when the ducks and killdeer flew off as I approached the clearing here.

This Sora, in breeding plumage, was in the same impoundment on May 4th, 2014. There was plenty of water this time.
