Monroe's Bird Photos / House SparrowLast Update: 9/3/2023 |
We have many house sparrows around our home. The males are easy to see since they have a prominent black bib on their chests. They will eat in groups from the feeder or the ground beneath it.
The next two photos show house sparrows we saw at Cape May, NJ on October 29th and 30th, 2005.
The next four photos show house sparrows at our feeders. The photos were taken with the NovaBird backyard bird camera, which uses a motion sensor to trigger the camera.
The birds in the nest box are raising their family at Swan Harbor Farms in Harford County, MD in April 2008.
These were at our feeder on March 10th, 2016.
This mostly white one has been in and around our bushes at home in the spring and summer of 2023. These photos werre taken on April 20th, 2023.
