Joyce and I saw this Roseate Spoonbill at Ackerman Park, near Sarasota FL on February 24th, 2007. We had to chase it around the lake to get a good view, but eventually it participated by staying beside the road as we approached. Joyce got the close up photos with the digital camera.

We saw a wayward Spoonbill in Fenwick Island, DE on June 27th, 2009. It was only a few hundred yards north of the Maryland-Delaware state line. These birds are pretty rare around here.
