Several Tree Swallows have returned to Swan Harbor in Harford County, MD. I saw this first bird on April 1st, 2006. (no foolin')
The next bird was also at Swan Harbor, on April 15th, 2006.
This one was at Swan Harbor on April 28th, 2006.
I saw many tree swallows at Bombay Hook NWR, DE on April 8th, 2007.
Joyce and I saw several Tree Swallows at Harford Glen on April 20th, 2008.
I saw a few more tree swallows at Harford Glen on April 4th, 2009.
This bird perched on a nest box in the pond at the Susquehanna State Park picnic area on May 9th, 2009.
A small group of Tree Swallows flew over the ponds at San Joaquin Wildlife Preserve in Irvine, CA in late January 2010.

A pair of Tree Swallows was building a nest in a tree cavity about three feet from the top of one of the observation towers at Bombay Hook NWR, DE. This male stood watch until the female flew back with some nest material. We saw this during a bird club trip on May 29th, 2010.
