We're Engaged!!!
Joyce and I got engaged on February 28th, 2002. We had been talking about marriage and had even started looking around at dates and locations and other basic planning factors before popping the question. We both knew the time was right and that we were perfect for each other, so the only things missing were the ring and the proposal. I wanted to be romantic and not boring or tacky about proposing, and I wanted to maintain some degree of surprise.
