I took a few photos of the White Sands area while on a work trip in mid-April 2006. The first three photos show the view from the roadside lookout at the top of the pass on US Route 70, between Las Cruces and the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) main post.

On April 13th, I took a side trip to the White Sands National Monument, which is about 30 miles east of the main military post.
