The photos of the aurora above were taken from our home in Belcamp, MD, about 20 miles north of Baltimore, MD, at about 7:45 PM on Thursday, October 30th, 2003. The sunspot photo was taken from the same place earlier that afternoon.

The lunar eclipse photos were taken on the evening of November 8th, 2003, again from our home in Belcamp.

These aurora photos above were taken on the evening of November 20th, 2003. Again, I took them from our home in Belcamp.

The photos below show the partial phase of the total lunar eclipse of August 28th, 2007. I took them from Bulle Rock, near Havre de Grace, MD.
