We celebrated our 2008 Christmas in several phases. Joyce's parents joined us at our house for Christmas Eve dinner on December 24th. On Christmas itself, we and the kids opened gifts in the morning. The kids had to be back at their father's house by noon, and after we dropped them off Joyce and I took the dogs to Ocean City for a couple of days at the beach. We returned home on the 27th and then picked up the kids and went to Joyce's brother Earl's house to meet with his family and Joyce's parents to exchange gifts with them.
