Bird Photos / Hawk Mountain, Pennsylvania10/13/2008 |
The Harford Bird Club took a trip to Hawk Mountain, PA on October 13th, 2008. The sanctuary includes overlooks along a high ridgeline right along the path taken by migrating raptors in the fall. The ridge is high enough that we could look down on many of the birds passing by.
We spent most of the day at the North Lookout. This is the view from my rock:
